I carved these nautilis shaped earrings from walnut wood and accented them with genuine abalone shell to complete the design. These light weight earrings are eye catching as the scored abalone catches the light, causing them to glisten. The attraction to designing with natural materials is that each pair turns out unique. With shells, you also get the added bonus of various colors and patterns. To make sure you get the earrings you love, you will get the earrings you see pictured here. The design is about 1 in long, 3/4 wide and are a little more than an 1/8 thick. I make the ear wires of solid sterling silver which is naturally hypoallergenic and brings the total length to approximately 1 3/4 in. These arrive in the gift box as shown, as a present to yourself or ready to give as a gift. The wax seal is not attached so that you can inspect your purchase and reattach easily.
